Fill your tumbler approx. 2/3 rds full with the corn cob and add about 1 1/2 tablespoons of Nu-Finish or any other paste or Liquid cleaning auto wax or polish.
Okay, I bought the Grainger 20/40 corn cob media. Now I need to know if that 1 1/2 tablespoons of Nu-Finish wax applies to my Dillon FL 2000 (Their largest tumbler).
Wow, 12 1/2 qts., thats one big mother. Yup you should probably use more, how much? I guess I'd start with 3 to 4 tablespoons and go from there. Add maybe a tablespoon at a time and see how it works. Its not rocket science, sorta the way Grandma used to cook, a pinch of this and a dab of that and it turned out great.
Remember, just enough to polish not enough to gum up your media, less is better. I also usually fill my tumbler and let it run allnight. Or put a cheap timer on it and let it run for 3 to 4 hours.
