I need to identify a black powder revolver. It is similar to a Lefaucheux M1858 with differences. It is an 11mm pin-fire circa 1860. It has an oval with ELG in it stamped into the outside of the cylinder... Belgian proof mark maybe? It has a circle with an S in it stamped on the front of the cylinder. It has 3504 stamped on the right side of the table under the cylinder... serial number? It has an octagon barrel with an integral top rib that goes back over the cylinder and fastens with 2 screws on both sides of the front of the hammer where it strikes to crush in the cartridge pin. Take out these 2 screws and it disassembles like an M1885. Its handle butt is slightly flared and squared. This won't let me attach my pics. It says they were already attatched to my first post to General Discussions entitled " M1885 clone? ". You can see them there.
