I'd rather stick to Uberti for a NMA since they are more correct in the design.

I prefer the Uberti Remington also especially with all models sporting that dovetailed front sight you can really zero it in.

I like the Pietta 1860's Army's but already have 2.5 of them. Don't really need another - though it's tempting.
Wonder if their inventory system tracks serial numbers. Maybe I need a consecutive pair or sextuplets?

My local Cabela's store had an 1858 Army in the Bargain Cave a few months back for only $139. I didn't know anything about the Pietta brand. After I did a little research, I went back a couple hours later, and of course it had sold already. Lesson: know what you want, be ready to pounce when you see it. :-(

I was just there last night, purchased the 1860 with help of an employee discount coupon that came in the mail.

They had a 1858 SS in the bargain cave for $330 i think. I passed because I already have one, but it's there in the Hamburg store if any of you guys are local.
