This may be a dumb question. I know 6mm creedmoor brass can be made from 6.5 creedmoor, but can it be done the other way as well. Make 6.5 creedmoor from 6mm by running it through a 6.5 full length die and then trimming? I didn't know if the neck would be too thin or something else would prevent it from working. Wondering because I am having trouble finding 6.5 brass at the moment but found some 6mm brass

I hussle brass and will have a little of it in a couple of day when I get this batch of range brass seperated.
Pm is the best way to contact, some times I don't get bact to these threads.

The neck thins, but also gets shorter. You may end up a little short on neck length when pulling up. I’ve pulled up a lot of 243win brass in the past, and have pulled up 223rem brass often, and just tolerate the lacking length until it grows to appropriate trim length.

Yes. I bought a few hundred once fired 6.5 and there were maybe 5 or 6 6 Creeds in there. I noticed them when sorting. They sized and worked fine in 6.5.

Would 6 Creed be more easily converted from 22-250 that 6.5? When I got my first 6.5 creed rifle 22-250 was all I could find.
