Cruz is out! Will Trump protect our 2A rights?

Trumps a Trojan Horse. Wont matter 55% of the electorate wont vote for him on body parts orientation alone. Then theres the black and Latino vote he would never get. Wer'e down to 30% of the electorate that MIGHT be compelled to vote for him and a lot of us would NEVER, EVER vote for Donald Trump no matter who he is running against. Count on 4 years of the evil witch.
 
^ Doesn't matter who the electorate will/would vote for. Once the nomination is secured, it's up to the EC.

And I think this is off topic.
 
Our 2A rights are more dependent on the house & senate than on Trump. If legislation does not get to his (the president's) desk, he cannot sign it.
 
Hillary just needs to win all of the 19 states that have voted Democrat for the last 6 elections, that puts her at 240 EC votes. All she needs is Florida and she's in.

Trump can win ALL of the GOP states and he will only be at 102 EC votes. He'll need to find another 168 EC votes to win.....good luck!

The math is strikingly easy for Hillary.
 
Surprisingly, the GOP has been having record turnout in the primaries.
The Dems have seen lower than normal turnout.
Dems have been seeing a significant number of defections to GOP.

Personally, I think Hillary will be plucking gravel out of her tushie after the landslide. Ala J.C. circa 1980.

Trump will get none of the Black vote. He will get none of the Hispanic vote. The vast majority of women will vote for Clinton. Trumps got the under 100 ( IQ ) white mail vote locked up. That isnt enough to beat Clinton. His successes in the Republican primaries have been a fluke that won't carry through to the general election. I'm a registered Republican that has voted straight R on the ticket for the last 30 years. I wont vote in November if Trump is on the ballot. The man is a disgrace.

Might as well get that in there before this thread gets locked.

I'm not going to vote for a man I consider a reprehensible pig under any circumstance. I respect the position of United States President and wouldnt even consider being complicit in putting Donald Trump in that office. Hillary Clinton would never get my vote but I love this Country too much to help put Trump in office.

HC already lost PA and WV with her "coal miners" comment. This won't be a typical electoral map fight.

So you will be part of the crowd who stays home and complains that Clinton got elected? ABC - Anybody But Clinton. Trump is the lesser of two evils.

Trump isnt what you think he is. Cruz got a couple of good parting shots out about Trumps character. Take the time to listen to his words. He was spot on.

You think Cruz will vote for Trump to keep Hillary out? Hell no.

Have you thought about Clinton and her past since 1976 ? The baggage she carries , the lives she's destroyed? The 4 in Benghazi were just the latest. Exposing our agents on Top Secret messages. No shame or morals.Trump is a prince in comparison.

As a life long Republican who respects the party and understands that Trump isnt what he presents himself to be I will state for the record that I would rather have Hillary Clinton as President of the United States than Donald Trump. That man is an abomination and should not be the head of our military under any circumstance.

Still hoping for a 2nd round convention.
