Current pistol safes

Tried using the search function and didn't come across anything recent as far as safes.

What I am looking for is one that will hold a couple pistols and magazines that can fit inside a nightstand drawer or inside a Armoire. One that provides quick and easy access so what are the differences in the locking systems.

The goal is to be able to store loaded pistols yet keep the children out. Completely new at this so all help is relevant. Educate me please!

I’m a fan of boxes with Simplex mechanical locks. They’ll probably last forever, are quiet, and of course you never have to worry about batteries dying or electronics going wonky. I have two Ft Knox boxes and one Vline. The Vline gives you about 90% of the quality of the Ft Knox for about 75% of the cost.

There's also pistol safes from both of these companies with front-facing doors if that works better for your situation.

Thanks, we have been looking at the Fort-Knox along with the Stealth Hand gun box, a few Vaultek along with s couple of the Gun Vault models.
