We do those grooves here. They were never intended to match anything. After a lot of testing and a few mistakes, we settled on a 12 degree angle to accommodate the way we teach chamber checks. There is a small handful of folks that think they need to make a fashion statement and make everything match but everything we do to a gun with exception of DuraCoat has what we consider a functional purpose of some kind.
