A most comprehensive, evocative, near-staggering presentation of the most fantastic wheelguns ever made. Just, "wow".
Going to take all it again albeit at a slower pace and over a period of days. And then I'll have to go back and read it all over again.
Thank God for John Taffin, his passion, and his journalistic excellence. The single action revolver's legacy is in the best of hands.

I had a friend who passed away about 10 months ago.
He used to give me a hard time, cuz I didn't leave my guns alone.
I always had to change girps, sights or some such.
Taffin's 1st line said, "Man has always had a desire to personalize his weapons; ".
There you go old friend.

I've read the article before and always enjoy it. It was written some time ago as it talks about the Keith Collection in the Keith Museum in Cabelas, in Boise, Idaho.
About two years ago, Keith's son decided he wanted to sell his father's guns so the Cabelas Keith Museum was closed and all of the guns, and Keith memorabilia were auctioned off. Raised a lot of money for the Keith family.
This is just to advise anyone who might be making a trip to Boise to visit the Keith Museum, that your trip would be for naught.
