Well, here is the 8th CVA Hawken I took in and fully restored. I still have some small work to do like straighten out the hammer and polish the lock internals but other than that, shes a beauty! This one actually has a walnut stock versus the typical beechwood found on cva's sidelocks.
.54cal slow twist barrel.
Waiting on the rear sight to arrive as well.
Got another CVA Hawken in the works as well which will be a .54cal ( new barrel going to be installed) Flintlock. Shes on the chopping block next and then a NICELY figured CVA Mountain Rifle with the made in USA stamped Douglas barrel in .50cal percussion.
