I have had a hankering for a contender but they are unobtanium. Maybe on gunbroker but for a mint I won’t part with. CVA has introduced a nice price point for crack barrel pistols in a few calibers. Sorry if I’m late to the game. And I know a budget gun is not equal to a better gun. But I imagine it could scratch my itch and if I want a new caliber they aren’t back breaking prices. https://americanhandgunner.com/handguns/cva-scout-v2-pistol/

I had the 44 mag, 357 mag, and 300BO. Fine pistols. Just wish the pistol caliber barrels were 11-10’” instead of the 14”. Would made it a perfect pistol, with even better handling.

Do they group well? Why did you buy the 35 rem? Limited terms on early hunting?
I bought the deal, not the gun. It was on sale for crazy cheap, and since I already cast 35 caliber bullets it was another place to put them to use. I only paid $170 for it.
