I've got one and will send it to you free. Just PM me with your details and I'll get it sent right out. My CZ-452 wears a globe front sight so I don't need a sight hood any more. From quick research it seems that will fit the 527.

The first thing I did when I bought my CZ 512 six years ago was take off the front sight hood. According to CZ the 512 and 527 hood are the same. After reading this thread I started looking for the hood, I kept it in case I ever sell the rifle. I found it pretty quick and snapped that bad boy on just to make sure. It went on easy peazy. Something in the back of my mind kept niggling at me. Egad! I have a Marlin 336W too and I took the hood off it also. After googling both hoods I realized I put the 336W hood on the 512. The good news is it does snap on quite firmly.
I started looking for the 512 hood and couldn’t for the life of me find it. I finally gave up and went back to studying my aromatherapy textbook. It’s an online advanced course and I want to score higher on the test next week than Walkalong.
I couldn’t concentrate because I was wondering where the hood was. Don’t know what led me to do so but I looked in the console of my truck and there it was. Tiger1, I will not sell it or give it too you. I will loan it to you for a year or so if you give your word as a gentleman you will send it back once you locate one. I’d still like to have it in case I sell the rifle down the road, don’t ever plan on it but you never know.
You can either put a Marlin 336 hood on your 527 or I’ll gladly loan you my CZ hood for a year or two.
