I recently purchased a CZ P-01 (great pistol) and though the factory rubber grips panels are pretty nice, I really like the look of the Hogue CZ75 rubber wrap-around finger groove grip panels. I already have a set of Hogue rubber wrap-around finger groove grip panels for my Sig P239 and Ruger MKII. The problem is Hogue only makes these grips for the full sized CZ75 series pistols. I believe I read on one of the gun forums (I can't remember which one) that someone had either a CZ 75B compact, CZ 75BD PCR or CZ P-01 and that they had modified/cut (removed excess bottom portion) a set of Hogue rubber wrap-around finger groove grip panels to fit their gun. Has anyone of this board done this, if so, could you explain how you removed the excess material and how well they came out. Pics of the modified installed Hogue grips on your CZ 75B compact, CZ 75BD PCR or CZ P-01 pistol would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks.
