I just shot two 75's this week. Bad weather and only shooting at about 30 feet from rest but, just one slit about a inch or so long and 1/2 inch wide with 7 shots...both guns! I have shot a few Taurus and like the feel and looks but have never been impressed with accuracy.

I have multiples of both. The worst CZ75 is nicer than the best Taurus PT92, at least in terms of finish and trigger pull. The Taurus will have the ability the be carried cocked-n-locked; the CZ will not. The CZ fits smaller hands better; the Taurus fits larger hands better. The Taurus will have an action lock; the CZ will not.

Both will be plenty accurate, both will be reliable, and both can be stocked with MecGar hi-caps for $20/mag.

It comes down to two things; which fits your hand better, and which manual of arms (decocker/first shot DA vs manual safety/first shot SA) you prefer.

As mentioned, the 75B can. And a Taurus 92 is a bit large for daily carry, IMHO. There are much better choices in both full-size and compact pistols.

Last year I bought two Glocks, an XD, a Kimber 1911 and finally a CZ75B (non-decocker). The CZ was in my opinion the best deal - no regrets whatsoever. The trigger on mine was a little rough when new, but it was easy to polish up. Great shooter, fits smaller hands well for a double-stack.

Please let me know, i will be picking up one of these on Saturday. Vote please. >>

I've not shot the CZ but I once owned a Taurus PT99 (a PT92 w/adjustable rear sights). An excellent handgun IMO - shot consistently to POA and good balance. It remains one of the few guns I still regret selling.

I've had a BD for 4 years, only handled the 92.

The CZ has outstanding ergonomics IMO. Very accurate, natural pointer. You can also add a fantastic 22 slide for it.

The Taurus/Beretta feels HUGE to me, more than necessary considering the caliber.

I bought the CZBD in 2002 and immediately bought the .22 Kadet Kit as well. 9mm and .22 on the same frame is a great way to go. 5 or 10 bricks of .22 is a very good way to get a trigger job. I like the BD for the decocker. Got the P-01 for a light weight compact carry with the same manual of arms. I've made some mods to the CZ over the years. Only problem I had was the slide stop sheared off after tens of thousands of rounds. Replaced fee in a day or two by CZ.

I have not shot or owned the 92. My smaller hands like the CZ.

Gotta go with the CZ on this one. I prefer the "B" version, but there's nothing wrong w/the "BD".
