CZ P07 Holster

Hello!
I’m looking at getting a CZ P07 Urban Gray (suppressor ready), but am having trouble finding a holster. Are the P07 and P09 kinda like the Glock 17 and 19 in that a holster for a larger model generally works for a smaller one? Right now I’m just looking for a range holster and see that Safariland makes a GLS holster for the P09 but not the P07. The P09 and P07 with threaded barrel have the same 4.5” barrel. Does anyone know if that holster will work for the P07? Link below

While the P07 is certainly not oddball, I suspect the "suppressor ready" version probably is. I think you'll probably need to call and ask a maker about that gun as their website probably can't keep up with all the variations of basic guns. Blade-Tech and Comp-Tac are two that make a lot of completion/range holsters and cover most common guns. Many of their options are open bottom and would accommodate an extra length barrel with a standard slide, though I would call to make sure if they don't specify on their website.

I believe both Blade-Tech and Comp-Tac offer thumb breaks, but if I wanted a retention holster, I'd probably stay with Safariland, though a paddle wouldn't be my choice.

Ok, let me rephrase. I don’t think I worded this well
I want a retention holster for a P07 suppressor ready. Safariland only offers duty type holsters, or a “concealment” holster that has SLS and ALS retention.
I saw they make a GLS for the P09. Will the GLS made for the P09 fit the P07?
I have emailed Safariland and no answer as of yet. Seeing if anyone has tried it or knows

You're going to have a hard time finding a paddle holster with any kind of hood type retention. Something like that doesn't really make a lot of sense since it's relatively easy to just take the gun along with the paddle holster. Unfortunately it's also tough to come up with a decent retention holster for CZ's. Blade Tech is the only company that sells their retention hood system separate from the holster, which means that that's the only system widely available on other company's holsters. IMO, the Blade Tech system sucks. My recommendation would be to email this company. https://www.redhilltactical.com/CZTanfoglio-Parts-and-Holsters_c_14.html They sell hood retention holsters with the Blade Tech system but if you want a better retention system you can purchase a Safariland hood on Ebay, mail it to them and they'll make you a holster using that hood.
