CZ P07 New Springs

So, I love CZ's, and have a SP-01 and P07. For for the SP01, I had a gunsmith put in new springs that would make it shoot more like a Shadow, and love the results. Now I am nerdy accountant/extreme math kind of guy who is not necessarily mechani cally inclined. But I came across a P07 , which I had one before that I regretted selling, then came across a spring kit from mcarbo that I purchased. Per their web site, I have been able to completely to disassemble this pistol. The problem is, I hope I can put it all back together. Hopefully no spare parts.

I put the cajun gun works $250 spring kit in my p07. it made a huge difference, but it is not as good as my witness match.
There is 1 spring that is rather difficult to put back in, and that is the decocker spring. Pain in the butt.

I have shot a Shadow, and you are correct. But the spring job IMHO made the SP-01 much closer. For much $$ less.

Did you get a significant trigger pull improvement? How much? Been considering the Mcarbo kit for mine.

Well, that gets back to the original post. I had difficulty getting the trigger spring inserted, and three times the spring flew across the garage. After spending several minutes crawling on the floor looking for the spring, I decided to pack it up and take it to a gunsmith. The spring kit for the SP-01, I believe was from Cajuns. When the gunsmith is done, and if I remember this post, I'll let you know my impression of the Mcarbo kit.

It took me a bit to get the kit installed by a gunsmith. The reviews show the SA trigger pull after installation is about 2.5#. I would not argue with that--very light. Very smooth pull, but I'd probably prefer a pound more on the SA.
