Stealthfixr,
I haven't had my hands on a RAMI yet, though I do want to fondle one very badly. Hearing that the 9mm model is coming out 'bought made a tent in my shorts. Yes, I have a problem.
Anyway, I own a CZ-75B and have been very impressed with it. It was my first pistol (bought it just over 2 years ago) and it's still my favorite. Sig is a fine gun, but if I'm not mistaken they're DA/SA and I don't really like that. Correct me if I'm wrong but do any Sigs offer the 'cocked and locked' carry feature? When I was first shopping the P226 was one option for me but just like the Beretta 92's it was DA/SA and that turned me off. I'm so glad I didn't get one now.
The Khar's to the best of my knowledge are DAO. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. Same with the Keltec's -- and I just bought their P3AT.
All fine guns, but this RAMI just might be an excellent carry piece and offer me a solid metal gun in a decent size with the manual of arms I prefer in two decent calibers (.40 and 9mm) with a name on it that I can trust.
I most certainly wouldn't scoff at somebody for carrying Sig, Keltec, or Kahr but I feel they're not perfect options for me. That's why I'm geeked about the RAMI. Supposedly an excellent sized carry piece (not the smallest, but smaller than my Glock 23) from a manufacturer that I never really hear anything bad about -- and the maker of a gun that lets me do 1" holes at 7 yards.
If it fights right I'd consider selling the Glock 23 for one in .40 or maybe even 9mm. That if I was rational though... I'm not selling the Glock. I'll just wait until I have more funds
