Hello.

Does anyone have experience using these magazines? I recently bought a few 1. Because they were on sale and 2. Because I like the more classic styling of aluminum mags to polymer p-mags.
Has anyone had problems in function? What is the break in period? I've seen reviews saying that the spring needs breaking in and would like confirmation. I also want to make sure I won't be clearing jams or misfeeds every few rounds.
If they turn out to be junk at least I'm not out a lot of money but would like feedback from people who've had longer term experience using these.

I have a couple of their 300 BO specific magazines for my subsonic load and they are have served me well with a fair amount of use.

i could be wrong, but i think D&H are made on the old labelle tooling, which was a military contractor.

I have purchased a couple hundred D&H 30 round mags over the past 20 years. I used quite a few of them and sold most of the rest during various panics.

make sure you get the D&H mags that have magpul followers, and the teflon coating

they are definitely good to go, if you want aluminum mags. i'd recommend having both pmags and D&H. however, don't get married to a magazine. number them, and use them all. rotate through them. if you have a malfunction, mark that mag. if you have two malfunctions with a mag, get rid of it. trash it, sell it, whatever. it's like $10, and not worth a chance of more malfs.

there is no spring break in period.

They are good mags. I have a couple, I like them better than C-Product mags. I still like P-Mags more, but of the GI type, they are very good.

I have a few D&H (Magpul followers/coated), Lancer, Magpul, Elander, & Bravo Co 20s and 30s put back for a rainy day.

I shoot the same ones. No issues with them. I also have ten rounders I use at the range.

Occasionally you will get one that doesn't lock in well, mod it satisfactorily or toss it. If one has feeding issues, toss it.

By reputation, they are very good. In my experience (only a few thousand rounds), I have never had to look at one twice.

For the price difference, I'll take a (larger) stack of D&H over any of the competitors.

I have several D&H mags and never had an issue. Couple years ago PSA had them on sale for $8.00 and I bought 15 more, a month or so ago I bought 10 more from them at $11.00 each.

PSA put's their bottom plate on, even thou their listed as D&H.

D&H aluminum mags are my favorite. Inexpensive and reliable. And I personally think they look better than the plastic ones.

I’ve got some of these and have not had any issues. I do make sure to try each one to be certain each one works.

D&H are good, I’ve never had any issues. My favorite LGS used to get D&H mags with their logo on them and give one away with every firearm purchase.
