D-Terminator Electronic Scale

I have one of those. I like it.

I had one for several years. Then I dropped it. On a concrete floor. Electronic doodads are the only thing Dillon exempts from their No BS guarantee. (And I dropped it all my myself.)

In a panic, I found and purchased a different brand of electronic scale at a major outlet. (Names are with held to protect the potentially guilty.) It didn't work as well and tended to give different readings for the same item (or powder charge).

I bought another D-Terminator. In my alleged mind, I think the first one worked better, but this one works well enough to satisfy my somewhat OCD mind.

Disclaimer: I have not tried all the electronic scales. But of the two I have tried, I like the Dillon the best and it seems to be consistent and reliable. And it is much faster than balance scales - which also get out of adjustment.

I like mine. I purchased it about a year after its introduction (let others be beta testers). I use it almost as much as my Pacific balance beam scale. It's speed allows me to check powder weights quickly by setting empty cartridge on pan, pressing "Tare" and then re-weighing the now-filled case to get the thrown charge weight. Handy - no messing with a funnel.
