Hello all,
I came across an interesting P226 a few weeks ago at my LGS. All black P226 with nickel accents, night sights, and no accessory rail.
The salesman claimed it was an NYPD overrun gun, like this one:

Except the one I saw in person has a nickel finish decock lever, indicating it's a DA/SA trigger. As far as I can tell, the NYPD P226s come only in DAO with a bobbed hammer.
I'm sure this isn't the USPSA model SIG offers -- it didn't have the beavertail or the accessory rail, and the price was way too low.
Did SIG ever make NYPD 226s in DA/SA? It's also possible that this might be a USED NYPD 226 that was converted to DA/SA, but the gun looked brand new. I suppose it could've been a safe queen though. I'm definitely going back to check it out again; hopefully it's still there.
Thanks!
