My Daisy 880 (newer model - plastic receiver) has an issue where after a few shots the barrel, while attached to the plastic front post sight, loosens past the plastic bump underneath that holds it in the metal shroud. Before I knew it was getting loose the front sight and the barrel shot out of the barrel shroud and a small item fell out of the shroud afterwards - which I never recovered from my lawn...
Prior to that, some pellets were jamming and not allowing the bolt to close completely - I was able to fire the chambered pellet by pushing the bolt closed and pulling the trigger... Not sure if a part of the bolt plastic cracked off....?
I am not sure if these are separate issues or related... Any fixes to hold the barrel in? - I would think that it is more than a friction fit into the valve assembly.
Thanks.
