I didnt do the quiz yet but how about a double barrel automatic??

There has to be such a thing as that pool player in the bar said he "had one"-actually he had many more than one.

7/10...

Didn't know where the .220 Swift came from, handgun front sight thing, and flat/coil springs question.

I got an 8/10...but I might as well got a 6-7 out of ten because one of them (.220 question) I blindly guested, and one other I just made an educated guess and got it right.

7 of 10, but we all ought to get back the Invincible question. Just leaves me clueless on springs and .22 primer issue.

wildcat 6mm Navy?

oh the things I don't want to know

Your final score is: 9 out of 10

Details: The Mars Automatic Pistol was invented in England in 1900, and was a recoil-operated arm that was configured like a revolver, cylinder and all. It was monstrously large, very powerful, and highly complex. Only about 80 were made, and are valuable collectors' items today.

How the crowd answered:
True or false: There is such a thing as an automatic revolver.
A: True 61.5%
B: False 38.5%

Correct! The answer is A, true.

I got them all though I think that there could be a case made for #9 the flat spring question. Though they wear at reduced rates when compared to coil springs all springs lose tension through use. I guessed on the Parker Invincible question.

8/10

missed the 22 rimfire accuracy, and missed the spring one.

Lucky (somewhat educated guess) on parker shotgun

converting the 225 or the 217 to the 220 just made no sense, so i had a 50/50 shot there and picked the right one.

Mr. Petzal, I am sure you will find us all here reading the next obfusticatory weasel worded quiz, and grinding any confusing answer into fine powder. Thanks so much for the quiz and for joining in.

You guys are either much more forgiving that I am, or have short memories.

Petzal was the original Zumbo, back before the Internet caught on. Here's what he said as the original Clinton "Assault Weapon" Ban was enacted"

Gun owners — all gun owners — pay a heavy price for having to defend the availability of these weapons. The American public — and the gun-owning public; especially the gun-owning public — would be better off without the hardcore military arms, which puts the average sportsman in a real dilemma.

I wouldn't urinate on Petzal's quiz if it was on fire, personally.
