Missed question #2 about the Ackley Improved.

Figured out the Talbot question by process of elimination and the Lone Wolf question by thinking like a Hollywood-type.

Thanks!

8/10 missed the ones about the ackley improved rounds, tried to go off memory of how the round looks. and the 300 rem ultra mag one, know nothing about the round. guess right on a couple though, never did see that movie, and knew nothing about that talbot round.

7/10 never saw lone wolf and I'm not into wildcat or obscure rifle cartridges plus it's late! Do a handgun only one I'd do even better.

8/10 even us mods aren't perfect.

Guess what? some of us ordinary people believe you!

Nice job so far Rob. :)

"Lone Wolf" was an early 80's Chuck Norris movie. Pretty good, but it is not all over HBO like some.
It WAS when I was stationed at Ft. Knox in the early '80s! Seemed like it was on every day or two, along with "Lion of the Desert" and "Treasure of the Four Crowns".

Maybe you're just too young... :neener:

Seems like many of us hadn't, me included. Here's some info on the 338 Talbot

Thanks for the info Hexidismal. The $3.00 a shot plus replacing the barrel after 250 rounds kinda turns me off, but it might make a good squirrel gun if you head shoot 'em!
