well guys 2 days until opening day of blacktail dear season here in southern oregon 17 days until turkey season, looks like this year for the opener will be hot and dry,not the best but like they say a bad day of hunting or fishing is still better then working. any one else haveing opening weekend soon and what are you hunting?

Hey fordman. I'm up in the Willamette Valley. Our party drew tags for the Warner Unit this year. So I'll be down in your neck of the woods (the Lakeview area). Can't wait 'till Saturday morning.

By the way, where do you hunt Blacktail down there? I've hunted over in the Hyatt Lake area.

i hunt the hyatt lake area one of my favorites and will probably be there this weekend at some time. we are camping off the 37 road just below fish lake yes can't wait for saturday
