Dennis is clearly not a gun guy, but he appears to at least listen to his fans.
I really like his show, but his ardent support for Rudy is giving me heartburn.
The above phone number is for 30 second comments, I have been leaving a lot of them.
Saying your piece in 30 seconds or less is great practice for short concise sound bites, always useful for us gunnies.
I have been politely leaving messages about Rudy's insane view that some how NYC's gun laws are acceptable because it is a "dense city".
Some how he has gotten a lot of people snowed with that one.
Are we to believe that rural people can have ccw's but in NYC only rich white men can?
Do a little research, if you can make it funny, he will probably hear it.
I have been saying Rudy's legs are nicer then Hilary's but politically they are identical.

bump!

wow, only 96 views, do any of you guys like Dennis Miller's radio show?
If it weren't for the anti gun stuff and the Rudy cheerleading it would be the best on the radio....well....except for Tom's guntalk of course.

If you support Guiliani, you're not a Republican, you're a RINO.

Guiliani is a joke, I'll vote for Hillary first.....

If Guiliani supports AWB, the republicans will rally to support him (because it's what they do, see Bush, Iraq, u get the picture) If Hillary supports AWB, the Republicans will rally against her, because she is NOT Republican. Pure and simple. I think Dennis is a joke, claims Republican, supports Guiliani, can I say puke. Maybe he's conservative for a New Yorker, but he's not a conservative when you ask the people in the free states. NY is not one of them.

Well now that is a little ridiculous ... I'd renounce my citizenship before I'd vote for Hillary ... but I agree Guiliani is not a quality Republican candidate and I will not be voting for him if he's the nominee ... I'll vote for the LP candidate (realizing I'm throwing my vote away) and I'll buy as many guns as I can before Hillary* bans them.

*or Obama or Edwards or whomever wears the donkey hat in the whitehouse ... you know they'll all do it.

As for Dennis ... he's come a long way. He used to be a raving leftist and staunch anti-gun kook ... now he's a semi-conservative/semi-libertarian who appears to be softening slightly on the gun thing (at least I haven't heard him bashing gun owners in several years).

I rethought this statement and returned to delete it, but since it has been commented on, I apologize for my lack of couth. I do not support Hillary or Rudy. I'll throw my vote away too for the right person, even though I don't see it doing anything but helping a frontrunner.

Well I didn't for a minute think you would actually vote for Hillary ... I recognize hyperbole when I see it :p

Call Dennis

And talk to him, he seems more approachable then many
talk show host and is solidly pro military.
He wants vets not to pay taxes, thats admirable (not gonna happen though)
If we can get him to understand how racist and underhanded Rudy's
catch-22 bureaucracy is, we might be able to get him to support
Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter.
On the sub topic, Rudy will be far worse then Hilary and if Rudy is the R candidate I'm voting LP or some other 3rd party.

Rudy Guliani and gun control go together like peanutbutter and jelly. We need to remember that Guliani supported the assault rifle band, supported more gun control in NY and was the lead in the law suit against gun manufacturers. He referred to the NRA a 'extremists'.

True Republicans support the 2nd ammendment, because only free men own guns. Phoney RINOs oppose the 2nd ammendment because it gives 'power to the people'.

I look at Miller Time on Fox every week. Miller and O'reilly are entertaining together. Miller admits he used to be further left, but says he learned some common sense since then. Somebody take him shooting and maybe he will continue to improve.

I will vote for Thompson in the primary, my first time ever voting as a Republican.

If Giuliani is the nominee, I will either vote third party or not at all.

I will NEVER vote for Giuliani OR Clinton.

Dennis Miller

Anyone that votes third party throws that vote away. Simple fact. Any vote not exercised FOR a viable candidate, is a defacto vote for the opposition (Hillary). If you really like Hillary, and all that she stands for, either sit on your vote, or vote third party. Remember, you are stuck with her programs and pograms if you do that. Principle is fine, when you promote it, but standing on it to destroy it is ludicrous. Dennis Miller is fun to watch and try to decipher (at times), but change him?

Rudi cleaned up the murderers, rapists, dealers, theives and other scum in NY. Oh, and broke the Mafia, the biggest corruption in the city.

And he did it by enforcing existing laws. Including so called minor crimes that got the bg's off the street. He's promised to appoint strict constitutionalists to the Supreme Court.

I'm not a single issue guy. If Rudi is the candidate and the prolifers and 2nd ammendment litmus testers don't vote, then you deserve what you get.

Me, I'd take Rudi, John or even Ron and maybe Fred before Hillary or John.

If your "viable" candidate is just as bad as the opposition, then voting third party is the only way to NOT throw away your vote. And when it comes to guns, Rudy is just as bad as Hillary. Maybe worse, because he can get Republican votes for gun control that he (or Hillary) couldn't secure as a Democrat.

I'm supprized that Dennis Miller isn't endorsing Hillary.I went to HS with him.To claim that he was a "little further left" is an understatement. He is originaly from Pittsburgh Pa,not NY.This isn't a slam, just fact.tom.

+1
My worst case scenario is that Guilianni will do everything "right" while at the same time throwing gun owners under the bus. We've got many allies fighting Hillary. Not so many fighting Guiliani.

Dennis Miller radio show....

I really enjoy his humor and watch him on Fox or HBO whenever I can. His political sentiments are another matter. I almost always vote Republican because they usually stand firm on my top two issues the RKBA and they are pro life. Miller and his man Guiliani hold opposite views on these two items I consider core issues of the Republican party. I share the view of several other posters that Guiliani would actually be worse for the pro gun crowd than Hillary. IMHO Hillary would run into major opposition on most gun control schemes she would support from the Republicans in both houses of Congress. Guiliani on the other hand could likely gain support from his own party for "Reasonable gun control". Reasonable as in NYC gun control. The only plus I see as to Rudy over Hillary would be in the area of SCOTUS nominees. You know we'll get Ginsburg clones from Hillary. We MIGHT get something better out of Rudy......
For many years my presidential election nightmare has been a rabid anti gunner on the Republican ticket. I fear my nightmare is fast approaching and I'm not a happy camper.....I just wish Dennis would stick to entertainment and quit garnering support for GGG (Gun Grabber Guiliani).
