Determining if Neighbor’s are Pro or Anti Gun

Im one of those who lives in the sticks so this thread really doesnt apply to me. That being said Im proud of the fact that Im a gunowner, and a member of the NRA as well as licensed CC'er.

Although I dont have any meighbors within walking distance, the people I associate with on a regular basis all know Im pro gun. In fact 3 of my coworkers have become first time gun owners since I started working with them last year.
Although I dont advertise with bumper stickers and the like Ill gladly take anyone I know to see my guns or to shoot most all of them, there are some that I wont shoot myself.

I think the more people we get involved in this lifestyle the better off we will be in the long run.

I ignore my neighbors and they ignore me. I don't know what they think about guns, and don't much care. Besides, I don't speak a word of Albanian...

My neighbor confronted me loading up for an airsoft outing once, and told me that guns are evil...my other neighbor is a convicted felon. I try to keep to myself.

We live in a rural area and I shoot in the back yard, so unless the neighbors are deaf, they know I have guns. Same thing goes for my knowing they do, I hear gunshots coming from their direction fairly often.

Great story, my neighborhood tends to be more "keep to yourself" for whatever reason.
Same here. It's not like it was 25 or 30 years ago when everyone in the neighborhood knew each other, your kids all played together and you left your doors unlocked at night.

Neighbors

I don't tell everyone, but if it comes up in conversation, then I'll say something.
My neighbor hunts, and he knows I work in security, so there are some pro-people. I have another who knows about my line of work, but advocates stricter laws (anti.) Then there are others, I don't know about and they don't know about me.

I only know about one of my neighbors, but his "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" license plate makes his stance pretty unmistakeable. :)

I know for sure about two of my neighbors....and I think #3 is pro. At least he didn't panic when he saw a bucket of brass I was sorting. He even commented that his dad reloaded, too. The rest of them,(further down the street), I rarely ever get to speak with.

Mark.

While my wife and I are friendly, we don't socialize in the homes of neighbors. When we decided to get our CCWs, we needed references, so we asked the closest two if we could use them. Both couples said they thought getting our CCWs was a great idea and of course we could use their names.

The guy next door brings home a deer every year, the old-timer on the other side has talked about the hunting dogs he once raised, the lady across the street forwards pro-gun e-mail that she receives to me.

I guess that is evidence enough.

So true. Neighborhoods use to be like communities where people had block parties and looked out for one another. Now, they are just a random smattering of people living in close proximity to each other. That's been the case in pretty much every neighborhood I lived in. I've lived here for over 2 years and have never exchanged words with any of the neighbors across the street. I guess it's as much my fault, too, but if they don't expend any effort, then I'm not going to either. Live and let live, I guess. I'll bet a lot of it has to do with this here computer and internet thingy in a lot of cases.

My neighbor just massacred like 12 pigeons that had been crapping in his pool yesterday with his pellet rifle. Im sure he is pro gun.

I know for sure the neighbors who have guns when I see them at the gun club. Others it is obviouse during hunting season.
