I recieved a gift card and some cash so I added a Ruger MKIII 22 to my safe so my 9mm and 380 would have company. Actually, I purchased it so the wife (or anyone I invite that doesn't own a gun) could have something cheap to shoot when we go to the range.

Not exactly for X-Mas per say, but I did pick it up that week.I bought it because it was already drilled and tapped with a mount. The Simmons red dot on it right now is a bit big. I'll come up with something better one day.

I found a Colt 1903 in a pawn shop a few days ago. Made in 1928 and still easily will put all eight on a man size target at ~40 yards.

Well, I did buy myself two Glocks, a 36 and a 26.
...um, and a 580-series mini.
...oh, and a 10/22 for wifey.
...and I might have gotten a Knoxx stock for my 1300 defender, too.

I was a very good boy!

A gun safe, electronic muffs and a range case also made it under the tree this year.

I posted it in the 340 M&P thread in the revolver section. I think it's on page 36 or so. Fired some 38's, then some 110 grain .357's, and then some 158 grain .357's, After the third shot with the 158's it wouldn't fire. It didn't "lock" as the trigger will pull but it just won't fire a round or turn the cylinder. The cylinder is also freewheeling in a counterclockwise direction. Smith is closed until Monday but I guess I'll send it back and see what they say.

I love the gun and all three loads were managable. I hope it's just a fluke.

Edit: Read pages 36 and 37 of that thread. Apparently I ain't the only one.

Yep, Santa was VERY good to me this year, buncha gift cards at Sportsmans warehouse so my gun budget was more then I expected. So, doing what any excited boy with extra christmas money would do, upgraded my original plans for a BuckMark Camper to a Springfield XD(m) 9mm, my first handgun! Can't wait to shoot it!
