difference between Beretta AL391 field and sporting models?

Hi all,

I am considerign purchasing a practically new Beretta AL391 for $950. The dealer has it on consignment. He says it's the Sporting model (which is the model I want), but I'm not sure how to verify that. What's the best way to verify that? Thanks.

Mine says "P. Beretta AL391 Urika" on the left side of the receiver. On the left side of the barrel, just forward of the receiver, it says "SPORTING" above all the other stuff.

IIRC, the sporting models have the wider rib and the extended Optima chokes.

It should

say sporting on the barrel. The stock is a little different from the hunting model. More or less, the sporting stock is a little thicker. There might be a serial number difference. The recoild pad also appears to be different (I don't remember that but...).
