Have dies/setups for .9mm, .38spl/.357, .40, 10mm, .45.

Brand spaking new to 9mm Mak.

Question. Can I use my factory 9mm Dillon dies to do the 9mm Mak with some adjustment?
If not, I'm assuming I don't need a full new set... then what?

Many thanks!

They are two different calibers.

9 MM x 19 MM = 9 MM Luger, 9 MM Parabellum, 9 x 19 are all THE SAME CALIBER,
WITH DIFFERENT NAMES/DESIGNATIONS.
They use a .355/.356 projectile.

9 MM x 18 MM Makarov IS A DIFFERENT CALIBER,
AND it uses a .366 projectile.
10 thousandths of an inch LARGER projectile.

You need the proper set. These two 9mm are not the same. As the previous poster stated "they are two different calibers"

I wish we had been precise enough to label the Makarov as 9.2x18 to avoid confusion.

Heck, I sometimes get particular enough to make a difference between the 1930s Luftwaffe 9x18 Ultra and the 1970s 9x18 Police, which are much more similar and are conventional 9mm bullet diameter.

Good info guys. Many thanks for the dimensions. Will
get new caliber conv set!

Cheers!

Different diameter, you can't use 9mm luger dies.
I have the Lee carbide dies for 9 Mak and they work well for me in my Lee Turrent.

Don't own a Dillon so I don't know if they use reqular dies or not, I think they do.

I have had good luck buying S+B 9mm Mak ammo and reusing that brass. I hear the Privi ammo and brass is ok also.
