Dillon Powder Dies / Powder Check

Quick question... this is for a Dillon XL650. Which dies does the powder check system use? Is it the same as the powder die for the powder measurer?

I'm slowly acquiring the parts to convert from .45 ACP to .308 Win. I have the large rifle casefeed plate and toolhead. Still need the dies. Figured I'd save some money for now and use the same powder measurer.

The powder check goes in the otherwise unused toolhead station, the one after the powder die.

Understood. I already load .45 ACP on the press. I'm just wondering if the powder measure and powder check use the same die because I can't seem to find any differences on the Dillon website.

The powder check and the powder measure use the same die.

 

[Nero Steptoe]

The RCBS Lockout Die, in my opinion, is superior to and less expensive than the Dillon Powder check system.
