Just wanted to say Dillon stands behind there products 100%. I bought another press a 650 from my cousin. I had lots issues right off bat Dillon tech had me send it in and all I can say is WOW. Complete rebuild frame and all like a brand new machine 43 parts. Wish other companies in non firearms related businesses were this good even 1/2 this good.
Thanks Dillon

Yep, the bar they have set actually has everyone in the business keeping up pretty good customer service.

I think they should get in the cellular business, that industry could use some help. Department of motor vehicles would be another good one ;)

I have great service in past from them but this is above good almost 100% new machine

Dillion has been very, very, good to me. There is a poster on this site who calls Dillion owners elitists, and I really don't know what his major malfunction is, what I do know, that each and every time I had a worn out Dillion part or an issue, Dillion took care of it.

I called Dillon to ask how much to rebuild my 650 after it was in a house fire. they said send it in we will take a look. @ weeks later they called and asked what address to send it. I asked how much "it's under warranty" they totally rebuilt it. cost me shipping to them.

That’s awesome too great company. Everyone says they are to expensive. Like old adage says get what you pay for

Several people having issues with Dillon. You cannot run a powder check with auto Bullet feeder system from double alpha on it because the powder bar slams into the feeder tube. They know about this, but still they have nothing on their web site and are not doing anything about it, just misleading customers who buy the double alpha system, they sell.

Running a bullet feeder system with a powder check is very common on 650's. But you cannot run it on the 750's without heavily modifying your machine. Dillon's customer service is a 0/10 and abysmal. If you don't believe me, just buy a 750, attempt to run the system, then when you find out something Dillon sold you doesn't work, go ahead and let us know the horrible customer service issues you are about to run into. They don't care about it. But yet they sell it. This is the beginning. This thing just came out. Soon, many, many people will be complaining to them.

I would not be surprised if a class action lawsuit happens against them over this. And the people in customer service that are responding? They know nothing about customer service. All they are doing are creating an army of people that despise Dillon. If they do this to veterans, that is pretty low. I will never buy a Dillon again, not anything, as long as I live.

Look at the gall these people have right on their web site:
Our products have thrived for several reasons. First, I run the company based on my philosophy. You treat other people the way you want to be treated. I don’t want people calling me up saying, “You miserable S.O.B., you sold me this machine and now you won’t help me.” I don’t want anyone mad at me. (about us section)

I am a Veteran of the US Marines, I contacted them, and they treated me like absolute ****. And I was not vulgar. They were not kind, they were terribly arrogant. Now, they will not help me.

They say they don't want anyone mad at them? I just paid thousands, and this fricking junk doesn't work out of the box with the accessories YOU SOLD ME DILLON. Just took my money and now nothing. Trash can. And I was sitting over here with other Dillon owners who now think Dillon can't design their way out of a paper bag!! Horrible, totally amateur mistake here in design! The powder bar is in line with the auto feeder die THEY SELL? HAHA!

Look at a good point in all this. I was one of the early customers. They had a US Marine do quality assurance for them, for free. Good job Dillon. Using your customers to find flaws in your products, then do nothing when that customer alerts you.

I think you cannot run the powder check with the MBF because the dropper goes into #3 where the powder check goes.

So you drop the bullet in #3, seat #4 and crimp #5.

If you want to keep the powder check and have a bullet feeder you need to put the dropper into #4 and seat and crimp at #5.

Or find a GSI tool head that feeds and seats at #4.

I just don't know what to say to this but I can say that Dillon has been one of the best customer support companies I have ever worked with. I am still using my old 20 yr plus 550, I've run tens of thousand of rounds through it over the years. When I called them not to long ago questioning them about some of the wear parts getting replaced they were happy as hell to replace them free! No questions asked . I rarely post but I feel its important that Dillon is a top notch company for me.............

I too am a USMC Veteran. I would image they treated you so badly because it reflects the attitude you had. I've called Dillon a few times and have never had a bad experience, unlike the times I called Hornady.

IMHO if you want to run a bullet feeder you should have gotten a 1050. There's not a lot of room on a 650/750 toolhead, any foold can see that.

I'll take that Dillon crap off your hands and send you a Hornady LnL AP. Sound good?

Amen Texas10mm I agree gladly got rid of my Hornady went back Dillon progressives 550 and 650. Forster Redding SS

Posting pics of the 650 won't help this. The 750 is a "totally" new design. The pieces are nowhere near in the same place as the 650. And no, Texas10MM, it had nothing to do with my attitude, I was kind, no vulgar language. They were short, arrogant, and "know it all" immediately. Also Devil Dog, this is business. Even if I was, they need to learn how to deal and satisfy all customers. This is their mistake. Their design flaw. They used me as their quality assurance tester and then didn't even pay me when I tell them all the issues with it. I was doing them a favor telling them super early, this new machine does not work with that combination. Also Devil Dog, other Dillon owners also got the same treatment as me. It is them that is the issue here. They don't give a **** about customers, and or Veterans, they just want your money.

I am not wrong about this, nor or all the other Dillon owners that verified this issue I am saying. Dillon is wrong. I bet you would take this off my hands. Other people working on a fix for this to help me, because those people care about customers. its super sad that the aftermarket has to come up with a "Fix" to a dillon press because what crap they sold me doesnt even work correctly together. Total fail. Companies get a false reputation for just warrantying products they say are guaranteed for life. By that standard, Vortex is the best company too. same warranty. Zero questions asked, they just fix it. This has nothing to do with that. This is like Vortex selling me a scope, and the scope mounts that Vortex sold me, do not work with the scope. I call them up, ask them why the rings don't work with this? you sold me it? Then they say..oh...no..you just don't know what your doing...bye...

More PR. They completely rebuilt my 80’s era 550 last year. All it cost me was the postage to send it out.

Thread is about Dillon but another company that stands by their products is RCBS. Needed parts for my Lube/Bullet sizer, supplied at not cost.

That’s a fools errand. You can’t satisfy all customers (example: you) but 99% will suffice

BTW, how old are you? And what’s up with you waving your veterans status around like Dillon owes you something special? I can tell you this vet takes a dim view of that attitude

And I guess you didn’t click on the GSI video link, with the tool head that would work perfectly on the 750 as sent from the factory. with the seating die lower than any other and the bullet column well out of the way on the left side of the press.

Anyway, it’s the same press as the 650 with the 550 priming system. Bend the failsafe rod the other direction and insert it from the other side of the linkage and clock the measure on the die clockwise accordingly and your done. If you can’t bend a piece of wire, you could always ditch the failsafe all together and turn the measure any direction you wish but that’s not what I would do. Like the original linkage with return springs.

If you want things to work as the original manufacturer intended, don’t modify them. In this way “Dillon is wrong” as is an automaker that sold you a gasoline vehicle that won’t run on the diesel fuel, you put in it...

If you have the ability to problem solve, then you can venture into “improvements” lots of times they are not, why I always suggest people use presses as intended first so they know how it’s supposed to work then, one at a time, make changes so you know what makes something better or worse.

I am getting a “rant vibe” like a kid that wants you to cut the catalytic converters off a car then comes back to complain it won’t pass emissions, research is always best done first vs learning of others that didn’t do any either, after it’s too late.

Always depend on you jmorris for solutions. Thanks is that a Square Deal in pic? Had one good machine should have kept it but 550 and 650 have me covered along with Forster and Redding SS. Even have Lee Classic Turret good machine don’t use it enough but it’s well made even if it’s a Lee

It is, the body collar on them is different than the one used on the 550,650,750&1050 but the powder measure part is the same and the bell crank will work on all of them.
