There is also a 3-4 week shipping delay. So that should be considered too.

My guess the price will soon stabilize to what the manufacturers want and the shortage I will be over.

I ordered a flask from Dixie during their sale on Jan. 10th and just got delivery on Feb. 23rd.
I called them sometime in between to make sure that my online order had not been fouled up and they said they had been working on December orders and were just starting Jan. 1st ones.

Yeah.....that is quite mental. You could pay around $90 shipped including the 30 hazmat for 600 primers when at Dixie when I made this thread.
I saw something similar to that before I checked the usual suspects of black powder supplies.
Funny enough, I just bought 900 RWS musket caps at a pretty smoking deal. Guess I need a new nipple for my Hawken.
