I pack a 2" snub revolver sporting a Barami Hip-Grip. It rides at 4:30 to 5:00 o'clock. Works good for office or car. After getting use to it an IWB holster feels cumbersome.
"Do you carry on your waist and have to sit a lot? How?
Yes.
I position myself appropriately, begin to bend at the knees, and come to rest touching down with my weight spread between the buttocks and the upper hamstrings. In advanced applications I determine how to best manipulate my back and arms comfortasbly into place. All very tactically, of course.
Oh, wait a minute.... You prbably wanted info on my holster. OK, I get it. I wear IWB or belt holsters around the 3:30 to 4 o'clock position.
I carry a Walther P99 at 4 O'clock with a good bit of forward cant. I use a Blade Tech IWB or a Falcon from Graham's Custom Leather. As a matter of fact I just drove for four hours yesterday and I didn't think about the gun at all. I am tall and skinny, however.
