For me, between .308, .223, 40 S&W and 357 mag/38 spl, my favorite is by far the .223.:D Its cheap to load, cheap to shoot and I can have immense fun with it, my Mini-14 is an absolute hoot!:)

357 magnum is my favorite. :what: I love that round. I can load it light & wimpy(3gr bullseye 148WC), nice middle of the road(5.0gr bullseye 158 SWC), or WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT(14.5gr 2400 158 SWC). It is extremely versatile.

.204 Ruger. Chasing a 1/4 inch group has been a lot of fun for me over the last few years - last week I made three groups under .400 (5 shots @ 100yds), one of them at .306. Closing in, maybe

Any of the straight wall rounds, carbide dies make it so easy.
I agree. I can really crank out 9mm ammo, and it shoots great. Very satisfying. I also love reloading for my .243. I love that rifle, and I love loading up a couple boxes of pet loads after all the pressure of finding the right one is over and I can sit back and wait for deer season...I guess I sorta like it all!

.357, no question about it. Although I don't mind the pressure-free ease of slinging out hundreds of 9mm or 45acp. I also thoroughly enjoy loading .44mag.

Right now, it's the .30-06, but I suspect that's about to change. My .45 Colt dies, and bullets came in the other day. I've got a pound of H110, and a 9 oz can of Trail Boss. The brass should be here Wednsday. I can't wait. I've got a sneaky feeling, it's going to be the favorite.

I hope you have patience with that H110, it will test your nerves. I've made the switch almost completely to 2400 and couldn't be happier. H110 is a fine powder if you load absolute max charges and don't shoot in the cold...or hot...or in awkward positions...

For me it's the 30-30. You can shoot it light with cast for lots of practiice. Or heavy for hunting deer or hogs with either cast or jackets. And it's a piece of cake to load.

500 S&W Magnum; straight walled case and easy to assemble.

When you load one you feel you've created something awesome.;)

45ACP is my favorite to load, but 308 Win, is my favorite to shoot;)

Eveything else is just to small, and harder to handle:D
