I like your saiga a lot. Like the ace folder just like the one on mine. I didn't upgrade the handguard on the rifle but I did put galils on my S12.

Sure did! Used Dinzag Arm's one instead of making my own, and still I say its 25 bucks well spent comes with the drill bit and tap--and it slides in under the barrel to make sure it stays put

The RPK had to have quite a bit of work done to it, refinished the HG, removed the FSB to allow for the proper RPK bipod, and reinstalled it without cant

Both of these rifles were fun projects (half the fun of owning a gun IMHO)

EDIT: I also had to install a shim to remove mag wobble, but now its 100%to my liking.. Duracoat may come in the future for both of these..

SimpleIsGood: it definitely IS a sign, I had a romy G, but sold it for my RPK. I couldn't live with myself so I built the 103 to ease my seperation anxiety.

You must get both or it will eat at your very soul!! Then the 5.45 bug hits you and you will need an RPK74 and a polish tantal + ak74 +ak107 + ak103 + akm + RPD +PKM and when you're totally broke you sell one of them and the seperation will eat your soul again so you being to buy more avtomats ARRGGGHHHH

Yep, looks pretty good. Where'd you get the Galil grip? I've hunted them down before, like a bonehead not ordered one, and now don't have a clue where i'd found them.

The ACE internal block will cover the holes in the reciever, or if you order any parts from Dinzag Arms, they will include plastic plugs for the holes that are almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove, which is a good thing

The grip is from ACE, but I think Sarco has them for less..

The 40 rounders are Romanian I think, they feed just as well as the 30's Centerfire has them at 60$ per pack of 4, which is a good deal! Though I bought them at 50 per 4, which is even better!

kcmarine, get yourself a saiga and build one really, with the saiga prices where they are at, this rifle is a value, especially if you build it piece by piece as you come by them..
