Hey guys I just wanted to see what ya'll think of my gun cleaning process.
First I field strip the gun and then I spray it down or completely soak the gun in Simple Green, after it has soaked and most of the powder resiude is no longer visable on the gun I take it to the kitchen sink and rinse it, after this I take it to the air compressor and blow dry the guns dry. Finally I spray the guns down with a cleaner/lubricant and wipe away the excess liquids.
Do you folks see any problems with this procedure? I do remove the handgrips prior to starting the cleaning process.
The guns that I have used this procedure on are a Kimber Stainless Pro Carry, Kimber Stainless TLE and a S & W LadySmith.
