Not the one Uncle Jack gave you, the first one you bought.

Mine was Ruger 9mm, had it about a year then traded it in for a Beretta .380, traded that in for Beretta 9mm, traded that in for another Beretta 9mm and still have that one. After that I've kept everyone I bought.

Still have the first gun I ever bought. I still have all the guns I have ever acquired. Like them all so I can never figure out which ones to sell.

Nope.

And if I had all the guns I'd ever bought, I'd need a bigger house.

If I didn't sell & trade, there'd be no way I could have enjoyed the hundreds of guns I've had the pleasure of owning. Every so often, you find a real keeper out of the crowd. ;)

Tamara,

did you really say "hundreds of guns"?

Cslinger came really close to selling his first. Ruger P97. Money was low but I talked him out of it. That gun has been good to him and it (like anything first) holds a sentimental value.

On the other hand, we did trade quite a few guns over the last couple of years but the first one stays.

Still have it. A model 28 I bought new at the end of 1973, right after I turned 21 and could legally purchase a handgun. Paid the princely sum of $129.95 for it at a sporting goods store.

No.

I have a problem of constantly selling/and or trading them in for something new ....

Does anyone know of a pill that might cure my disease?!?
:D

Yes.

My first purchase was my Steyr M-9. Still is my primary 9. ;)

Primary(Pistol): Steyr M-9 <- 1st pistol
Primary(Carbine): Feather RAV-9MM <- 1st carbine

Yep, Ruger SP101.

Unless you count the Crossman 770 bb gun which has been passed down to the lowercase L's.

Nope. My 1st gun was a POS Taurus 380 that I sold to help pay for my 2nd handgun, my P7M8 (which I still have) :D

#1 OSU

Yes , Inland M-1 Carbine purchased 1974 when I was 13 . I cleaned a horse barn for $2 hr . Pd $75 for it .

I had a choice of the M1 or Enfield #5 Jungle Carbine . Glad I chose the carbine . I had a #5 later and it kicked like a mule .

I still own the first pistol I bought, but the first gun I purcased was a Rem 1100 shot gun. Unfortunetly, I sold that.

Yep. Ruger 10/22. Bought it a couple of days after my 18th birthday.

Yep, first pistol was a Kimber Polymer Stainless. I still have my first rifle, Sprinfield M1A. Kimber sees less range time cuz I got a STI Trojan. M1A sees lotsa range time.

Yes.

Actually had to have my Father buy it for me, as I was only 18 at the time.

A Polish Radom 9mm with Nazi acceptance stamps. $125.

I still have the first two I bought free and clear in my own name, too, a Charter Arms Off Duty and a Savage 99 in .300 Sav.

Shudder - No the first gun I ever bought was a RG -22 back in 1974. Now my brother still has the second gun I bought a S&W Mod. 10.

Yeah, i still have the first gun i bought--a Sig P228.

Of course, I just bought it a few months ago. What can i say? I'm young...

I've bought and sold a few others since then, but the Beretta 92 that was the first gun I purchased is still with me. Of course, it does have a bit of company now....
