An HK style front sight but instead of being square or rectangular, it's shaped more like ^ ?? I like using my HK style iron sights as they're fairly accurate, but I feel as if I would be more accurate if it were a sharper front sight with a white or fluorescent tip. Has anybody ever seen anything like this??

No, but it sounds like a job for a file and some paint. I've done the file and paint job to front sights on some of my guns that were able to shoot precise enough to make it worth the try.

That was when my eyes were better. Now, I actually need a standard thickness front sight. Or more honestly, optics. :D

I thought about doing this actually, but I'm afraid to ruin my front post lol. I know I could screw one out and a new one in, but that would be even more work!

I just had my wife pull it out and I looked at it and it does unscrew but is held in by a pin. I'll have to look on youtube on how to change these out. Good find! Thank you!

Kind of surprised this did not generate more traffic.

European "pyramid" front sights do not have a huge fan base on this side of the Atlantic.
Which probably has as much to do with the semi-circular rear sights--getting a teeny-tiny point to center in an equally-small half-round notch. Which is a far cry from more "american" style 1-2 MOA clean rectangular blades and circular aperture sights (or, in pistols, square blades and square notch rear sights.

I will admit a bias for blade sights over round posts, the sides can give a fuzzy sight picture in some light.

But, let me admire how quickly chichattones found you suitable options. (Even if I'm now hungry fro cracklings and picante :) )

I will say that I'm quite pleased at his swift reply and success at finding what I was seeking! Now, the question I have, is this. Is there a more suitable rear sight for the "pyramid" front??

Now, that's a question :)

You can find some authors out there who will state that there isn't one.

I know I do not like either a half-round or a V notch. The latter becasue you are trying to geta black ^ to align to a black V, especially when that rear notch has a long eye relief.

From my experience, that beveled top edge will get a highlight (except in the most perfect light overcast situations). Which means that you do not get a nice clean crisp ^ profile, what you get is rounded to the eye, all the precision of a round bead. The human eye 'favors' hhigher contrast, particularly when slightly out of focus (the ways sights ought to be, generally). So, that means yor eye is probably going to "set" upon one dge of the sight or the other, and down below the taper. Which will mean you will bhigh however many MOA the bevel is tall, and L or R by the MOA width of the sight.

If I had to pick a rear sight to use with a beveled blade or pyramid front sight, for my 2¢ it would be a short eye relief ghost ring peep.
