Does anyone here know what the color is called on green tipped 5.56 Nato, 62 gr. ammo? I know is it green, but would like to know what color green enamel it is or what color green Lacquer it is or what color green epoxy it would be or what kind of paint they used? Guess this is a two part question. I am curious because, it seems very hard and I would like to know, because my son asked me and I had no idea what to tell him other than it is GREEN. Thanks for all Replies.

It's Green Tip green...

I suspect it's some sort of enamel paint... it's pretty durable, but it does scratch off.

Different color greens depending on who made it, if you are after a paint match.
Don't know but I would guess it would not be anything fancy, lacquer or enamel of some type, they would want something cheap and easy.
