Does anyone still carry an LC9 or LC9S?

I was looking through my safe this weekend, when I spied an old friend,
My LC9S.
I carried it for a long time, until my work required a bit better concealment. I am around the public and on others private property most days, but refuse to be unarmed, so I switched to an LCP, then later to an LCP Max (which I love).
Now my normal work day includes less time on others property so I might just go back to the LC9S.
Just thinking out loud I guess, but the LC9 isn't talked about much around here anymore, so I was just wondering if anyone carries one anymore?

The Ruger LC9/LC9s/EC9s is slightly smaller in length, height, and width, several ounces lighter, and with the same capacity compared to the original S&W Shield.

From what I read on many forums, people have not abandoned their original Shields en masse, so I suspect a fair number of Ruger owners also continue to carry their LC9 variants.

I carry a first-generation LC9 (circa 2011) hammer-fired DAO pistol. I have modified the magazines from 7 shots to 8 shots with the MagGuts® kit. My gun has a marked preference for, and it's most accurate with 147gr ammunition. My carry load is Winchester® Defender® 147gr PDX-1 BJHP. With this ammo, POA/POI is the same at 15 yards.

I have a 9mm shield also, it is comparable to the LC9s. I put a different trigger in my shield that fixes the trigger issues with the original shield.

I have an LC9s pro. I preferred it to my G43. I would still carry it, but it turns out I like the little Kahr 9's even better.
My brother still carries an LC9S.
I have mostly carried an LCP since 2008, but a Kahr CW9 would occasionally ride in a Remora in my jacket pocket during cold weather. My grandson now has the Kahr.
For the past year I’ve had an LCP Max in my pocket 100% of the time away from the house, but recently picked up a new Kahr S9 on closeup from Locked & Loaded for $218 plus tax, shipping and FFL.
Haven’t bought a holster for it yet, but will get to it soon for occasional carry with jackets.

I still have one of the camo-framed NRA LC9 pistols in my safe. I don’t carry it anymore, but it’s there if I chose to. (Bottom left.)

Stay safe.

I had an original LC9 that I gave it to my adult daughter and bought one of the LC9s pistols. I really liked that gun but ended up with both a G43 and a Sig 365.

I'd actually planned to keep the 2nd Ruger as well. But I have a friend who was in need of something that size and he had a tight budget. I ended up selling it to him at a very good price to help him out. I sleep well at night knowing my daughter and friend have a reliable pistol. While I like my Glock and Sig a little better, I'd not feel handicapped at all with the Ruger.

I have a LC9 in my rotation. I switch off between it and my S&W CSX. The LC9 is a little thinner and I carry it when I wear a little more revealing clothes.
