Does the Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail 10mm really hold 9+1?

The 45 holds 8 rounds and everyone knows that is under super compression so I would think that 9 10mm slugs could fit in there also,

Did the math:

8 rounds times .45= 3.6
9 rounds times .40 (10mm) = 3.6

Question answered.

Wilson Combat sold 9 round 10mm mags years ago. McCormick is making some now. I prefer the Wilson's. Neither one locks the slide open.

Tripp Research also markets a 9 rd 10mm mag.

if its a true comander, ( full sized frame) then yes it would be 9+1.

Mine does. The cutouts on the side of the magazine indicate that it was designed to hold 9 rounds.
