LOL Good answer! ^^^

Yes, because she may have to defend herself or the house.

Our finances and property are held jointly, we are each others beneficiarys.

Wifey knows where the key to the bedroom strongbox is.

I've given her the combination to the safe downstairs several times but when she needs to get in there for records, passport, etc. she comes to me to open it. I don't think she's memorized the combination but even if she has, she can't figure out which direction to turn the lock or how many times.

So: Yes and no.

Yes, because what's mine is hers and what's hers is hers also.

On a more serious note while Kathy is not a firearms enthusiast everything in our gun safe is owned by us. Should I decide to up and have a massive coronary (read into that I die) she should have easy access to the safe and its contents which include her jewelery, documents and other important papers. Heck, she will need to look nice for my funeral right?

Absolutely. No reason to store my guns and her guns in separate places.

Yes. My wife is an avid shooter and has been her whole life. When we met I was impressed that she had 4 pistols and 5 or 6 rifles/shotguns. Her collection has grown A LOT in the last 5 years. As small as she is, I would be kind of scared of her wrath if I didn't give her access to my collection!! lol

Yes, as about a third of its contents are hers. We were in the sporting goods section of a local farm supply store earlier this week, and she suggested we get a bigger (30-gun) and better gun safe ... a Xmas present to each other. I told her, "If I wasn't already married, I'd marry you."

Yes. I found that after eleven or twelve firearms she stopped noticing extras slipped in the back:neener:. However she has made a few comments lately, so I guess she is more observant than I thought:banghead:.

If I couldn't trust her completely, she wouldn't be my spouse!

Took the words right out of my mouth. I trust her with my (our) daughter every day. I care a lot more about my daughter than my guns.

And if she (my wife) ever decides to shoot me, well... I'll probably deserve it. ;)

She has the combo, but rarely goes in it unless she needs cash...even then, she usually asks me to get it out for her since the safe is in my office.

As others have said, she wouldn't be my spouse if I didn't trust her completely...

Of course she has access as others have said "If I didn't trust her I wouldn't stay married"

No, because my NFA items are held as an individual. If she had access, we'd both be committing a crime.

Besides that, she has zero interest in guns or anything having to do with guns. Which is just as well. Some people just aren't meant to mix with guns.

I went one better. I made sure she had her own guns. But to answer the question... YES, she has access
