On a side note, the governor of Alaska is one of the "short list" VP candidates I keep hearing about. Based on the laws in Alaska she sounds like a pretty good choice!

Ammo, rifles and shotguns only in Lbk.

When I go in there and get 45 auto and the clerk asks me if it's for a handgun, I tell him it's for my thompson carbine. The looks I get from him are priceless. Then we talk about zombies..

In Houston most of the big box stores only carry ammo if they carry anything at all. Even the Academy Stores in Houston-proper don't carry ARs.

Recall seeing a Beretta 92 in Walmart in the early 90's----now they don't even sell long guns anymore since '06 or so.

Stopped by a new Wally World this afternoon in Jacksonville FL (near the airport) - no guns, other than BB & airsoft. They did have ammo however.
