OK, so this is all hearsay, admittedly, but I was wondering what other people's experiences were.
At work today, I overheard a conversation. Well, really, I only heard the word "gun" and of course it drew my attention. I asked what they were talking about, and one Co-worker 'Steve' (names changed to protect the ignorant) said "When you buy a gun at Wal-Mart, they immediately escort you out...supposedly some security issue or something. I also heard that Wal-Marts in [two local towns] are stopping selling guns anyway"
Now, I've read on some forums that Wal-Marts are generally hit-or-miss when it comes to OC. I emailed Wal-Mart Corporate asking for a clarification of Corporate policy, and their response was "You should contact the manager of your local Wal-Mart." Reeeeeeal big help, thanks.
I've personally never bought a gun from Wal-Mart, and don't plan to. In fact, the only reason I even stop by the sporting section of one of the local Wal-Marts is the guy who works there, great guy, even invited me shooting one day after having held like 3 conversations with me! But I digress.
So, anyway, what is everyone else's experience? I intend to call my Local WallyWorlds, but it's 5AM here and they're all closed. I'll let you all know what they say.
