Here's my Douk Douk knife I got last year. So far, it's been a great knife for the relatively low price. Definitely beats most budget name brands imo and all no names.
The whole knife and handle is carbon steel, though I'm not sure what type exactly. It can and , as you can see, has, rust. If it's not oil every few days or used when wet. The blueing has mostly worn smooth and the blade etching has started to wear away.
Blade can be very sharp and only takes a good few runs to get sharpen on a stone.
It's an old school design that you don't see very often and does it's job well
