DPMS Panther Arms - Anyone familiar?

I bought my one and only AR right after the Sandy Hook shooting before the prices went nuts. I didn't buy it because of the panic. I wanted an AR before then and won the bid on GB for the gun the day after SH. I have the DPMS "Lite". I did add a RRA carry handle. Some day I will get around to making the trigger better. It seems to shoot OK even though I have only fired 80 rounds so far. I like it and have no plans to sell it. I also have no plans to buy another AR either. One is enough for me. Here is the gun I have.

I guess since I paid just over $600 for it and $100 for a brand new RRA handle it must be a "good one". Anyway it does what I want an AR to do.

The OP's question is if "Anyone" is familiar with DPMS Panther Arms. Well I guess I'm familiar, but only somewhat. It's with a LR-260 Panther series I bought back in 2009. It's the full blown model with 24" fluted stainless barrel, stock with adjustable gadgets, meaning it's too heavy and cumbersome to be a useful hunting rifle. And topped off with a Leupold scope with big knobs and complicated numbers. Most initial testing were with same loads I use in my .260 target and silhouette rifles. At 100 yards 5-shot groups were OK but not nearly as good as typically claimed on AR shooting forums. Since then the rifle has only been used by my pals and me ringing steel at 600 yds...
