adcoch1,Well, since I'm dreaming, I'll take a Ruger single six bisley with the 4 5/8" barrel, deep blue in 38 spcl waddcutter. It's possible but expensive. And I'd also like a 50 jrh super redhawk with a 6.5" barrel and a super Blackhawk bisley also in 50 jrh with a 4 5/8" barrel. Also possible but expensive. And a functional 1917 s&w with the lanyard loop and holster, in good useable condition for a price I can afford...
Andy Horvath is a specialist in converting the Ruger Single Six. Not sure what he charges but all the work he has done for my family and friends has been reasonable.
As for the S&W Model 1917, they are still out there and good ones can be found.
