Sorry in advance, I'm sure this or variations of it have been posted before, but upon a thread search I'm having a hard time finding any answers.

I have what I believe to be some early manufacture AR-15 magazines. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about when they may have been manufactured or about value, should I want to sell any. They all came from a military warehouse.

Some specifics:

All are 20-rounders
straight body, olive drab or gray finish
metal followers
Floorplate markings:

(pony) COLT AR-15
CAL. .223
COLT'S PT. F.A MFG. CO. INC.
HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.

Some of the Colt's are marked as "CAL. 5.56"

Other brands / floorplate markings include:

Adventure Line MFG. CO. INC. Parsons, KS. U.S.A.

M16/M16A1 CAL. 5.56 MM Universal Inds. Div. Simmonds Prec. Prod. Div. West Haven, Conn. U.S.A.

I also have two carboard boxes each containing seven brand new Adventure Line magazines. The boxes are stamped with military contract numbers and dates of manufacture. One is marked September of 1970 and the other April 1971.

These worth anything more than any other 20-round mags?
I can try to get pics if it would help.

Oh, and I have a couple dozen 10-round .22 LR mag adapters that came with the vintage mags. These anything special?

Thanks in advance for any help.

An AR-15/M16 magazine predating the '94 AWB may be worth something to folks in states that still have a state-level magazine restriction in place - I believe NY and MA folks fall into this category.
