I just have just aquired some mags for my guns and am interested in what I have.

The 20 round AR mags are marked the following on the floorplate.

"Adventure Line MFC CO INC
PARSONS. KS. U.S.A."

Does anyone know what I got here? Is this a usgi high quality mag? Around what should I have paid for one in around used condition? Just curious, thanks.

One more thing, I also purchased some (what was claimed to be) NIW USGI M14 Mags.

The Mags are in what looks like a plastic shrink wrap.

In blue ink on the front of the wrap it says

"1005-00-622-9048
Magazine
1 EA CC-A
A 1/84"

Then on the side verticlly there is some yellow letters that say

"+ Rapit Seal VCI #2050 + MIL-B-22019 + Type II Lot #1 + Seal Other Side St. Regis Paper Co Bridgeview, IL"

Does anyone know anything about these M14 mags? Which company made them and approx. value of them in the wrap?

Thanks a bunch.

Adventure Line was one of the largest producers of M16 magazines for the government. So yes, it's USGI. I've seen them lately priced anywhere between $15 and $30. with most closer to $15.

Adventureline was a good USGI brand. I have seen the 20 rounders go for more than the 30s, with prices around $20 each.

On the M14 mags, I know little about them, but can you see the stamping on the spine of them (rear flat)? If you can read that tell us what they say.

Blain, go to http://www.fulton-armory.com

Now go to M1A/M14 FAQ (frequently asked questions). They have an excellent article covering all of the M14 mags made - finishes, markings - everything you could want to know and then some.

Hope this helps. :)

I opened one of the mags up, it looks absolutely mint! Light grey park, never entered a mag. The markings on the side of the mag is as follows

There is a giant K, and in the K there are the following smaller letters

"M
T
DO"

the M is in the top V of the K, the T is in the middle <, and the DO is in the bottom of the K.

So what do you think?
