Well, why buy one when you can get two!?!

The HK45 and P30 (9mm) both came home today. The HK45 is a V1, but I’ll be converting it to the V3 configuration. The P30 came with the decocker but, no manual safety, and night sights.

I guess I’m in the “H&K club” now!

Awesome. Enjoy them in good health. Now I am going to give you my standard HK advice.

HK’s are on the hairy edge of over sprung IMO and are generally tightly fitted. Clean and lube both before shooting and run a box or three of hotter and or heavier ammo in the beginning. Conversely or concurrently work the slides and leave them locked back for a few days or so.

Those things will likely head off any potential issues with powder puff ammo especially crappy 115 grain 9mm in the P30. Those steps may not be necessary but they don’t hurt and save you any issues shooting the cheap stuff.

I love my HKs enjoy yours in good health.
Chris
