I got this shotgun for Christmas. Its an emperor made in turkey.
I was surprised at how well it functions. I've put two boxes through it with no hick ups.
list price was 269 but got it for 109. So very pleased with it.
Well, beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but as long as it runs and you're happy.....
My buddy is from Turkey (Turkiye?) and says the reason we are getting so many imported Turkish (Turkiyesh?) shotguns and pistols (but no rifles), is related to their domestic market as much as import regs.
According to him, in Turkey, civilians can get a shotgun with almost no restrictions, and a pistol permit if you bribe the right officials- these guns aren't considered terribly useful to revolting rioters or rebel groups so the government doesn't really care who has them.
For anyone not on active military or police duty, however, getting caught with a centerfire rifle will get you disappeared pretty quickly....
Nothing wrong with those shot guns. I had one, it ate everything
I put in it. Ended up trading it for another gun only because I had half a dozen other 12ga guns I liked better.
